When Alan Gover approached me to create a Torah cover in memory of his late wife Ellen, he wanted something that represented her: namely the zest of life. We thought that the tree of life coming from a pool of fire would be something appropriate.
The finest embroidery was employed in this design to give it the most subtle feeling possible.
